Is your business the BEST?
In addition to helping businesses become more sustainable the BEST Business Center recognizes businesses that have gone above and beyond. We offer two levels of recognition, the BEST Awards and Portland Climate Champions.
BEST Awards
The BEST Awards are Portland’s most prestigious sustainability award for the business community. Since 1993, the BEST Awards have been presented annually to Portland area companies demonstrating excellence in business practices that promote economic growth, environmental benefit, and social equity. Winners are announced at the BEST Awards Breakfast every April.
Portland Climate Champions
Portland Climate Champions recognizes businesses in Portland that have taken verifiable steps to reduce their carbon footprint. Businesses must fill out the Portland Climate Champion application form and successfully pass our on-site verification. Join the growing number of businesses who are working to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, save money and enhance their brand.

We also want to recognize the businesses that have worked with the BEST Business Center to make their business, and Portland, more sustainable. Click on the years listed on the left to view current and past participants.
This program helped us develop our goals for the future and unified our commitment to go green. More importantly, it solidified the purpose of our greening group and allowed us to bring others on board.
