About Courtyard by Marriott
Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center is a boutique hotel, carefully designed for the 21st century. This means you can expect the traditional friendly and attentive service you’ve always enjoyed with a modern accent. Located in downtown Portland, the 256 guest rooms are individually decorated with art and sculptures made by Portland artists and finished with a stimulating—yet comforting—balance of colors. The property is one of Portland’s greenest hotels, the first Gold LEED-certified hotel in the Pacific Northwest, and one of only 15 in the entire country. They're reducing their carbon footprint by using 28% less energy than normally used in a conventional building. They recycle, compost, conserve water and seek out and use earth-friendly products. As a result, Travel Portland presented Courtyard by Marriott with their 2010 Green Travel Award.
